Belgian beach motocross rider Cyril Genot is making a name for himself on the international motocross stage. We are proud to welcome Cyril to the PLASMAIDE Pro team.

Reflecting on his experience with PLASMAIDE, Cyril shared, "Motocross isn’t just about speed; it’s about maintaining focus and pushing through fatigue over long races. PLASMAIDE helps me keep my energy steady and stay sharp throughout the competition. It’s been a game-changer for my recovery, allowing me to train harder and stay consistent."

Cyril’s motocross journey began early, growing up in Riemst, Belgium, where motocross was a central part of his family life. His passion and talent for the sport were apparent from a young age, setting the foundation for a promising career.

Some key highlights of Cyril’s professional career include:

• Riding for Husqvarna in 2019, Cyril’s best result was a 7th position at the MX2 Belgian Grand Prix, impressing against factory-backed riders. Cyril continued to consistently compete around the top 10 in the MX2 series for the entirety of 2020.
• He celebrated his first overall victory at Dreetz in the 2021 ADAC MX Masters and achieved podium finishes at Drehna and Tensfeld. Cyril represented his country at the 2021 Motocross of Nations in Italy, nearly putting Belgium on the podium if it wasn’t for mechanical issues encountered by the whole team.
• In 2022/2023, he showcased his prowess in sand racing with a 2nd place finish at the Enduropale du Touquet, one of the world’s toughest endurance races.
• He became the 2023/2024 Champion of the Championnat de France des Sables (CFS) and once more, finished 2nd at the Enduropale du Touquet, solidifying his reputation as a leading sand racer in Europe.

Whether racing in motocross events or battling the demanding conditions of sand racing, Cyril continues to push the limits of his abilities and has established himself as a rider to watch on the international stage, where he’ll continue to prove his resilience and determination.
